Well another Enterprise "
Cornfest" has come and that means another all day volleyball tournament. Our team is...Rebeka Lewis, Ginger
Shumway, Stephanie
Thornock, Kathi Hunt, Shawn
Frehner, and Amy Walden. We have been together as a team for over a year (our first tournament was last years
Cornfest), and this last tournament has shown a lot of improvement. We are actually running a defense and almost look like we know what we are doing. We start the day playing all the teams to see what our placement will be in the tournament. This year we were in 4
th place, which is a huge improvement from last place. Now just in case you think there was only 5 teams...there was actually 9 teams, so you can see that we have improved. The tournament was single elimination so unfortunately we didn't play long but before the actual tournament, our record was 8 wins and 4 loses. We had a great time and luckily everyone came out of it without any injuries, and pretty much all of us could even walk the next day (another improvement from last year).
That's me (Shawn) in the long white socks. It looks like Amy is getting down on the floor so I can use her as a stool to jump up for my "statue of liberty" play.
Just all us hot mama's relaxing between games. If we weren't playing, then we were either refereeing, eating, drinking, or relaxing.
